People are still getting married and Dovercourt Hall has been the choice of many newlyweds celebrating their union with their family and friends. For wedding receptions, family reunions and anniversaries please book early to avoid disappointment. Ask about discount rates for Dovercourt Hall members.
There is still a thriving Bingo in the Dovercourt area and if you haven't been to Bingo in awhile come out on Tuesday nights at 7 pm , visit with your friends and enjoy Bingo in a smoke free , friendly environment. It's a hoot with some good money up for grabs!
Message from the President....
Welcome to Dovercourt Community Hall,
We are very proud of our venue and the community volunteers who work endlessly to keep everything working in tip top shape! Our members help with preparing meals, bartending, working bingo's, maintenance, hall functions such as the Halloween Family Dance & Family BBQ's. We welcome all new members who would like to join our group. The members meet the first Monday of each month at 7pm (with the exception of summer months) to discuss what's happening at the hall and if there are any tasks that are required.
We host our annual general meeting the first Monday in February each year. If you would like to become a member of the Dovercourt Hall please join one of our meetings. If you would like to volunteer but don't have time for meetings, that's okay too! Let us know that you are available to volunteer by contacting our Booking Manager, Irene at (403) 844-0583.
There has been a Dovercourt Hall in the community for about 80 years and our current membership is getting older. We need some more people with new ideas and fresh energy to get involved. The Dovercourt Hall is a great facility and serves a good cause in our community, please consider joining our great group of volunteers.
